Dolce & Gabbana Closed Milan Stores for unfair treatment by the city official

Dolce & Gabbana temporarily closed all of their 9 stores in milan for the reason that they have been "Pilloried" over their conviction for tax evasion in june by the milan councillor for commerce publicity Franco D’Alfonso, He argues that the duo should not be allowed to show their upcoming spring 2014 collection in the city, to quote:

“We don’t need to be represented by tax evaders"; later the councillor apologised publicly for his words and said they were not given in an interview.

All of the D&G window shops in the upmarket street in milan were showing the words "Closed For Indignation",need i to add that Milan is the ground-stone city in which they showed their collection in 1985 for the first time.

Dolce & Gabbana were recently sentenced to 20-month jail time terms and got a juicy fine for 400,000,000 $, in return to this whole shenanigan by the financial police the pair said: "We are no longer willing to suffer undeservedly the accusations of the financial police and the income revenue authority, attacks from public ministers and the media pillory we have already been subjected to for years".

D&G said that they will continue to pay salary to their over 250 retail employers during the temporarily strike, the stores will reopen this monday.

They are walking tall and willing to lose the weekend sales for their pride.

I say Taxes are going up all the time, someone needs to rebel right..?
