The art of fashion, Valentino's Fall/Winter 2013 campaign had his designs inspired by art, Dutch artists to be exact. The whole campaign photo-shoot was shot by the dutch photographers Inez & Vindoodh, the duo are well known and considered to be top photographers among magazines and couture fashion campaigns.
Valentino's classic collection emerging to flourish with flowers and baroque textures; This season's rich colours are looming in the fabrics such as: royal blue, red, cream and green, the set decor was taking after 'Vanitas' Paint style, a symbolic flemish dutch painting from the 16th and 17th century; the background was dark and alongside the models the set displayed seasonal accessories with the combination of elements and objects inspired by the painting's composition such as feathers, porcelain, luscious fruits and half faded flowers.
