The accessories department this upcoming Fall/Winter 13/14, has become flooded with oversized necklaces, making it a strong seasonal trend. Among the designs, necklaces featuring mixed stones, metallic chains, pearls, and feathers, have made their appearance on the runway. Hitting the scene in forms of bold bibs paired with collared shirts, accented on bare necks, and strategically placed under coats and jackets. The results are funky pairings with ethnic accents, hinting at baroque-styled pieces.
While neon colors were prominent during the warmer months, the dominant hues of the upcoming season are: pearl, metallic gold and silver, purple, blue, black, and shades of green.
