First producing hip-hop at the age of 15, Maya the british/japanese descent was amid mixture of sounds Dub to Punk to Soul and Jazz to World to Classical music; After migrated into a dubbier sounds and eventually evolved to drum'n'bass, Maya was always determined to input her own vision in every aspect of the production process, From writing, producing, mixing and even art directing the album cover.
After debuting in 2011 and making a stamp on major magazines as 'DJ Mag', 'MixMag' and many more that praised her work, Maya also created projects and collaboration like her famous dub-electronica hybrid project alongside vocalist Lena Cullen called 'She Is Danger'.
