New Google Chromecast - Streaming Dongle

If you heard anything about the new Google Chromecast is that it costs 35$. Cheap right?
Yes, that's why the new 'Buzz' by google is sold out, you don't go through the rational process before you buy that item.
But what is that mesmirising thing behind it? Well it's a wireless video dongle that streams Netflix and YouTube to your TV using Android or iOS tablets as remotes, with Android users also getting access to Google Music and Google TV and Movies.
We can now bring the 'Apple Tv' in and say that when we compare the two, Chromecast is much more easier to set up when you only need to connect it to the HDMI port in your TV, BUT it does require more power than the HDMI port alone, that's when you need an extra free slot of USB to connect the micro-USB cable included in the box; After that just download the app and you're good to go.

The drawbacks on the Chromecast is the lack of dedicated remote unlike the apple TV means you always need a smartphone or a tablet nearby, Moreover the beta mirroring screen doesn't work as well as you want it to and it doesn't support some of the major apps like HBO Go, Amazon instant, MLB.TV, Spotify, and Rdio.
The bottom line is that Google's streaming dongle is certainly cheap but with it's initial limited app support and the reliance on mobile devices; For now we can relay on the Apple TV and Roku.
