Holon's Design week Pre-exhibitions


The First Look At The Design Season in Holon.

Five fashion exhibitions will open in Holon from the beginning of September, marking the new Fall/Winter 2013/14 Season. Consisting of selected works by Fashion photographer Yaniv Edri, Photography and Stylist Tamar Karon, Photographer Ron Kedmi, and Jeweler and Shoe Designer Yael Freidman.

On September 3rd, the Art & Design Event will kick off, including the fashion exhibition that will launch just in time for Fashion Week from October 13th to 19th. The exhibitions are all based on different concepts, tied together with the love of fashion.

The performance gallery "Meirov House" will host the solo exhibition of Fashion Photographer Yaniv Edri, with selected works from his 15 years in the field. The curator of the exhibition will be the celebrated Fashion Expert and Stylist Ruben Cohen.

The Photographer and Stylist Tamar Karon will present her works in a series called "New Love". Her work will present various fashion designers, photographers, painters, artists, and other influencers including Dorin Frankfurt, Yoav Hirsch, Amit Israeli, Motti Reif, and others with their own interpretation to the "new love" theme.

Photographer Ron Kedmi will present an outdoor exhibition in the "Dov Hoz City" Gallery, which will display a series of photographs inspired by the book "Dune" by Frank Herbert. The photographs were shot in the Ramon Desert, which will be on display on December 30th.

The Hankin Gallery will be hosted by Yael Friedman, Jewelry Designer, in an exhibition called "Jewelry Effect". The exhibition will display plastic and metal jewelry, with a focal point on aestheticism in the items. The exhibition will close on October 19th.

The Vitrina Gallery, located in the Faculty of Design at the Holon Institute of Technology, will host a Shoe Exhibition titled "From Sketch To Shoe" in a partnership with local shoe brand "Koppel Off". The exhibition will also close on October 19th.
