Bar.ON & OFF / By Daniel Assayag

The new collaboration between Bracha Bar-On, a local designer who specializes in urban-casual collections, and Riva Oshida Samira, a bridal designer, appears to be a very intriguing project in the works.

Throughout the past month, there have been rumors of Bracha Bar- On, Fashion designer, and Riva Oshida Samira, Bridal designer, starting a new collaboration of evening and bridal dresses. The rumors were confirmed when the two launched their new project in a boutique at Neve Tzedek.

The line is entirely Ready-To-Wear, all dedicated to evening and bridal gowns, based on soft, feminine designs, perfect for those who’d rather have their wedding night without cheap thrills. The inspiration comes from timeless classics, along with the romantic, loose and free feminine spirit of the Bohemian 1970's. The shared Bar.On collaboration bundles up the rich experience of Bar-On and Riva, creating the perfect fit to the israeli climate and specializing in flattering silhouettes. The velvety shapes are highly feminine, with perfectly executed finishing details.

The Summer Collection is made of maxi and mini dresses, loose kimono shirts in a variety of lengths, corsets and tailored jackets, as well as skirts and high-waisted pants. The exquisite details come in forms of emphasized shoulders, front and back décolletage, handmade flower patterns and delicate bow- ties. The designs are made of high quality and unique fabrics, imported from Italy: pure silk, rye, tulle and lace. Most of the pieces are clean and simple, but geometric and flowery patterns can be found among the collection with the dominant colors being red, black, blue, nude, cream and white.
